Come along and volunteer in our wildlife area!Sessions are taking place the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month and you can join in anytime between 10-1pm.
If joining at 10am, meet under the cafe and help take the tools over, or join later by heading to the Wildlife Area (Butcher terrace recreation field nearest Millennium Bridge Gate to the park). Stay as little or as long as you like up to 1pm.
No knowledge of gardening needed, just an interest to get involved and enjoy time in nature and have a go!
The area has an orchard, pond, bog garden, and we are working on a wildlife flower meadow, rockery for amphibians, scything meadow grasses and generally continuing to tidy tio eh area so wildlife can thrive!
