During this in-depth course, you will learn the principles used by firefighters in suppressing fire and protecting structures in the Wildland Urban Interface. You will also learn about fire behavior prediction and how it applies to our topography, fuels, weather and fire safety challenges. Discussion will include how to best protect your home from wildfire and survival tips. Refreshments will be provided.
