Join Farm Bill Biologist, Bob Scott, and National Park Rangers on a nature hike to talk about habitat, identify native wildflowers, and enjoy one of the trails of Hot Springs National Park!Come prepared with water and good hiking shoes! The group is meeting at the Hot Springs Mountain Picnic Area. The hike is roughly 1.5 miles. Participants are encouraged to download iNaturalist on their smart phones, but it's not necessary.
The focus of the hike will be looking for Ouachita Blazingstar (Liatris compacta) which is a species of special concern for the Park.
