About this Event
Hindi Marciniak is the founder of Empowered Ventures Media Group, where she combines decades of experience in marketing, strategy, and leadership to build a national platform that supports and elevates women entrepreneurs. Expanding from the original mission of Empowered Ventures, she is dedicated to creating opportunities through storytelling, resources, events, and advocacy. Beyond her work in media, Hindi serves as Vice President of Community Impact for the Junior League of Reno and as an Ambassador for the Reno Sparks Chamber of Commerce. Guided by both business expertise and a strong commitment to service, she is passionate about helping women gain the visibility, support, and resources they need to thrive.

Clothing tip: wear form fitting tank tops or shorts underneath to lessen exposure when trying on clothes. (Optional)

How it works:
Purchase a ticket and swap 1 item for 1 item or join the Swap Society and swap till you drop with the "shopping pass". Members unlock unlimited swapping at all locations, and other perks!
Leftover items are either saved for the next swap or donated to Safe Embrace or St. Vincent.
Eighty five (85) pounds have been donated to St. Vincent thanks to previous swaps! This extends the life of garments, keeping them out of the landfill and helps those in need.
Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada operates St Vincent's Donation Drop Off in Reno, NV, offering a range of poverty assistance programs including dining room services, food pantry, immigration legal services, and housing benefits enrollment.
With multiple donation drop off locations in Reno and Sparks, St Vincent's Donation Drop Off reinvests 100% of profits from donated items back into their poverty assistance programs, providing essential support to those in need in the local community.
Schedule:
First 20 minutes, check in and mingle with swappers
Swapping begins and continues throughout the event with wrap up starting 30 minutes to end of event
