Wildflower Identification Workshop - Muswell Hill Playing Fields

As part of the Haringey Meadows Project, TCV Haringey and Haringey Council are working together to bring you this free beginner's wildflower workshop where we will:

• Explore the basics of wildflower structure and ecology
• Learn how to identify the UK's most common species
• Practice the techniques for surveying them in the wild

No prior experience is required. All ages and abilities are welcome.

If you have to cancel your place for any reason, please get in touch via the contact numbers below.

• We will begin the day with a short, presentation covering the basics of wildflower structure, ecology and identification by learning how to use keys.
• We will then perform a practical survey to record the species in the meadow

All of the necessary equipment will be provided by TCV, but feel free to bring your own ID guides and survey tools if you would like.

Bring any refreshments you may need, such as water and snacks.

Please dress appropriately for the weather, and sturdy footwear is recommneded as it might be muddy in places.

We will meet by the playing fields next to Coldfall Woods.
