Calling all nature lovers! Celebrate the grand opening of the West Oaks Wildflower Garden with a StoryWalk and fun take-home crafts for families. Drop-in anytime between 10 a.m. and Noon.

Learn about Florida native wildflowers and plants as you enjoy the benefits of reading and the outdoors at the same time! StoryWalk is a way to exercise your body and mind as you have fun reading the story and enjoying nature along the way.
The West Oaks Wildflower Garden features Florida native plants and flowers, including Sunshine Mimosa, Black-Eyed Susan, Butterfly Milkweed, Partridge Pea, Wild Pennyroyal, and many more! This demonstration garden will showcase the natural beauty of Florida and the importance of supporting pollinators.

The StoryWalk® will be on display at the West Oaks Branch & Genealogy Center Saturday, October 9. All are welcome between the hours of 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. Featuring the story "Planting A Rainbow" by Lois Ehlert. The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
