Join PSCSC for a morning of fresh air, exploration, and family fun as we discover one of Colorado Springs’ beautiful nature trails together!
We’ll be walking the Wildflower Path and Upper Meadows Loop at Stratton Open Space, an easy 1-mile loop perfect for families, little explorers, and anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors. Along the way, we’ll look for wildflowers, insects, birds, and other treasures of nature while completing a simple scavenger hunt together.

• Easy 1-mile loop
• Approximately 20–30 minutes of walking time
• Beautiful meadow and mountain views
• Family-friendly and suitable for most ages
🔍 What to Expect
• Nature walk
• Scavenger hunt
• Wildflower spotting
• Bug and bird discovery
• Wildflower seeds for each child to take home and plant
• Time to connect with other military spouses and families
Helpful items you may want to bring:
• Water bottle
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Sunscreen
• Hat or sunglasses
• Camera for photos and nature discoveries
Not a member? No problem! Guests are welcome to attend their first event before deciding whether membership is right for them.
