So what do we do:Fire tending, forest growing, wild food foraging, wood crafting, den building, nature-based games to engage with the environment, conservation led by the young people, wildlife pond care, wild-crafting.
Behind all of those things is the practice of nature connectedness through building relationship and knowing a piece of wild land.
Our training, supports and inspiration:
🌿The John Muir award- your child will achieve their Wild spaces Guardian award after enough hours and meeting the criteria; Explore, Discover, Share, Conserve. A nationally recognised certificate.
🌳The Children’s Forest- mentoring them to experience, imagine, plant and tend to a forest.
🌱Forest School-a child-led learning outdoors through experiential play following the 6 core principles.
🌳Cultural Emergence, permaculture and The work of Jon Young & 8 shields- sessions are designed around natural patterns, the needs of the young people, the land and considering future generations.
