Wildcard Game Nights presents: Puppetry Workshop

To end the summer on a fun note wildcard will host a Puppetry Workshop at TENT Rotterdam to teach you everything about puppetry.
About this Event

At wildcard we play lots of different games and we are excited to host a puppetry workshop.

In this session, we will invite the very special puppeteer Sol Miranda to teach us the basics of puppetry and help us develop short puppet shows. You can either bring your puppets from the previous session or a doll or plushie from your home. Sol will help us create puppet shows with our puppets, and we’ll finish the session with small performances.

A bit about Sol Miranda:

Sol Miranda (they/them) is an Ecuadorian-Jewish performer specialized in puppetry and clowning. They see puppets and the clown as pathways to break the molds of reality and recover the pleasure of (child)play. Sol began doing small puppet acts in 2022 on public squares, restaurants, schools and small independent theatres across Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. Over the past four years Sol has created a variety of DIY puppet shows and experimented with different styles, including glove, shadow, foam, hybrid, muppets, and objects. They recently completed an advanced training in puppetry at the School of Puppets in the Hague.
