Wild Writing (in-person at SPL). What's on your heart?
About this Event
A new in-person Wild Writing group starts this autumn on Thursdays 10-11.30am.
Registration is now open for our next block of small group in person Wild Writing classes. No experience is necessary, just a desire to write about (your) life, with no fear of criticism, and with the support of likeminded souls. Join us in person, surrounded by the thousands of poems stored at the fantastic Scottish Poetry Library.
One ticket covers the full course: 6 workshops from 10am-11.30am on Thursdays 10th, 17th, 24th September, 1st, 8th and 15th of October.
Using poetry on the themes of change, loss, love and life, we listen to the wisdom of poets, before responding on the page. Writing is generative - this is not a class to improve technique - and no experience is required. Places are limited to 8 per class
Join us if you want to
- write from the heart in a safe space about how you navigate times past and present
- be yourself, mask-off
- find community
- feel better about your work in the world
