Connect with art and science at MDWFP’s Mississippi Museum of Natural Science in Jackson with this series of painting classes for teens and adults led by local artist and Pacesetter Gallery owner Keri Davis.
Learn how to paint tortoises with the help of Pete the Gopher Tortoise our model and inspiration for this month's painting!
Keri has 30 years experience in teaching and creating art and is looking forward to painting with you.
May's Class: “Tortoise Tales” includes all materials and instructions to paint this 11" x 14" acrylic painting. Paint from your experience of observing the museum's gopher tortoise Pete!
Cost for this class: $25 per person and is limited to 25 participants.
What to Expect:
This class is appropriate for all skill levels age 12 through adult and includes Museum admission plus all materials and instruction.
