We will begin with a brief into Kundalini Yoga (where it comes from, how it works, and some of its peculiarities). Then we'll move into a 1-hour fusion class that includes a Kundalini Kriya for energy and focus and mantra. One of the peculiarities of Kundalini includes that you will sweat and feel like you've had a full-on workout from a seated position! The workshop wraps up with an introduction of short daily practices you can take home. Sunday, June 23

Instructor Bio
I am a registered E-RYT 500 trained in Power Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Ayurveda and Qigong. My yoga journey includes more than a decade of teaching yoga, leading teacher training and retreats. And my life journeys include being a mom and wife and living and traveling around the U.S. and the world as a soldier, business professional, adventurer, and volunteer.
As an enthusiast student of world, I'm not concerned with perfection in a pose, but rather in serving love, compassion and truth to expand authenticity, belonging, prosperity and wellness. Chronic conditions have taught me that there is ALWAYS a way to experience the benefits of energy direction, muscle and spinal strength and fluidity. You'll hear lots of options for poses, explanations of what is happening within the bodily systems, and universal themes in my classes.
I teach fusion - different types of yoga, breathing techniques, mantras, energetic balancing and sequencing to support optimum functionality of the musculoskeletal, nervous and endocrine systems. For me, Kundalini yoga has been the link that unites all forms of yoga together and has brought me back to my mat almost every day - even when I couldn't walk. I believe everyone is on their own journey and yoga can be a map for each of us to find our way in our own way.
