Wild Thing Series: 2040

The Colonial Theatre’s Wild Thing film series is created in partnership with Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust and highlights films about the natural world. This film is also presented in collaboration with the Profile High School Sustainability Club. The event will begin with a panel discussion at 7:30 followed by the screening of the film.

Director: Damon Gameau, NR. Concerned about his young daughter’s future, filmmaker Damon Gameau travels the world in search of new approaches and solutions to global warming. The film surveys possible solutions to the climate change crisis and offers an unusually optimistic way forward. “Although the odds of implementing all these ideas might seem steep, “2040” is a rare climate documentary with an optimistic message.” —New York Times
