Join writer and editor May Toudic at the Greyhope Bay Centre as you forage for the treasures of the bay and create your own wild tea blend.
About the workshop
In this workshop, you will take a short walk around the Greyhope Bay landscape and learn about foraging for tea ingredients. You will then go back to the centre to learn about preparing, drying and preserving your bounty and create your very own blend to take home.
This workshop is perfect for beginners, from nature walkers to tea lovers and anyone looking to learn a new skill.
All materials will be supplied.
About the artist
May Toudic is a Writer, Editor and Producer working in Publishing and New Media. She is the creator of two audio drama adaptations of classic novels, Murray Mysteries and Morland P.I., and author of the upcoming novel This Particular Somewhere. When she isn’t juggling her creative hats, May works as a cat mother and Content Manager. She hold a PhD in literature, specialising in adaptation, modernisation and the relationship between 19th-century novels and 21st-century media. Her many hobbies include crafting, foraging and making her own tea blends with anything from yarrow to apple peels.
