About this Event

Wild Spirit Wild Places Presents
Rooted in Nature, Celebrating Native Plants and Pollinators!

It’s Pollinator Week! Join Wild Spirit Wild Places® for a fun-filled afternoon exploring the powerful connection between native plants and pollinators. Protecting and promoting pollinator health and diversity is essential for the well-being of both nature and humans. We can all do our part to support them!

Event Highlights:

Guest Speakers: Engage with experts as they share insights on Texas native plants and caring for our pollinators. Our friends from Central Texas Seed Savers will be talking about their work to conserve/promote native plants; the Founder of Round Rock Honey will be talking about native plants to support bees, Hays County Master Gardeners will help us with habitat recommendations, and Wild Birds Unlimited experts will be talking about planting for birds.

Native Plant Giveaways: Take home native plants to create pollinator-friendly habitats in your own backyard.

Wildflower Seeds: Get your hands on wildflower seeds and learn how to sow them for a burst of color and biodiversity.

Seedball Making: Roll up your sleeves and craft seedballs to disperse in green spaces, fostering habitats for pollinators.

Interactive and Information Booths: Hosted by our supporters from Central Texas Seed Savers, Native Plant Society of Texas, Hays County Master Gardeners Association, Wild Birds Unlimited, Round Rock Honey and more!

Art and Music: Enjoy a close up look at a native bee and enjoy live music on the Desert Door patio.

Come be a part of this enriching event as we raise awareness, foster community, and take action to safeguard our precious pollinators.

Admission is free. Please RSVP to let us know you are coming. We want to make sure we have plenty of giveaways for all, including a welcome cocktail for those attending the panel discussion at 1:00 PM.

The cocktail service provided by Desert Door throughout the afternoon will offer a variety of cocktails made with wild-harvested sotol from West Texas, a pollinator favorite! A special cocktail made with Desert Door’s Conservation Series, The Pollinator, will be featured. Food for purchase available at Lo Salvaje food truck.

Mark your calendars, grab your friends and family! Join us on the Desert Door patio and the cool indoor space of The Rackhouse! Admission is free for all!
