Join Himangi in the Rougemont Room at Exeter Library for a fun and creative storytelling workshop, building and sharing stories about our animal friends! A relaxed storytelling session along with some fun crafts to learn and share animal tales! Inspired by Indian folktales from the Panchatantra, this 90 min workshop is the perfect opportunity to explore forests and friendships for children and families. Learn more about storytelling practices in different cultures whilst building a story of your own! By the end of the workshop, you will have an animal story ready to share, and you'll have made a little clay figure of your story’s main character to take with you!
About the workshop leader
The workshop is led by Himangi, a final year English and Creative Writing student at the University of Exeter. Born and raised in Mumbai, Himangi has worked in theatre, storytelling, and writing workshops and projects.
This is a FREE drop-in session , so you don't need to book! (but if you do book via Eventbrite, we'll have a better idea about numbers, and you'll receive a reminder email)
Age guidance: perfect for all children aged 6+ and their grown ups.
