Wild Spa Day. For Mothers.
10am–2pm

A soft landing. A sacred pause. A space just for you.
This is a wild spa day for mothers: woven with care and nourishment.
A wild community retreat baby and child welcome.
Your babes are welcome throughout the day.🙏
Held within the gardens of Ryecroft and hosted by Jules McGoldrick-Hayden and Louise Mortimer (The SpXce), this first Summer Solstice Wild Spa Day offers a blend of movement, sacred rest, spa experience and nourishment.
Louise, a breathwork and contrast therapy facilitator, will be our guide for the sauna and cold experience.
You are invited to be with us, just as you are.
💫 Arrival & Welcome
We open with grounding and gathering.
Cacao to awaken the heart, a circle to connect and breathe to arrive.
🌿 Gentle Movement
A soft, postnatal-aware yoga session to move, release and reawaken the body.
Suitable for all.
🔥 Wild Spa Experience
A guided contrast therapy session led by Louise, expert in heat and cold.
Begin with our wood-fired outdoor sauna, accompanied by clay masks, botanical herbal body scrubs, and essential oils.
Then brave the plunge... into our stone-built cold-water bath, awakening every cell.
Return to the sauna to complete the cycle.
We’ll move through this part of the day in small groups, allowing time, care, and presence.
With the support of both us and the other mothers present in community, extra hands will be there so your baby can be held or watched while you rest, soak up the heat, and immerse in the plunge.
This is space for you to sit, breathe, and be.
🍵 Nourishment & Closing
Then LUNCH! homemade Ryecroft special, vegan soul food, herbal teas, and a gentle closing circle to honour the Solstice.
What to Bring
Please bring the following with you so you can be as comfortable and cared for as possible:
A water vessel to stay hydrated
Swimwear for the spa session
Two towels – one for the sauna/plunge and one to dry off and wrap up after
Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing (layers are ideal depending on the weather)
Anything you or your baby/small human might need throughout the day.
This first offering is at a special price of £44.44 for the day, we hope a wildly luxurious experience that feels accessible for those on maternity leave, in the thick of mothering, or simply needing time to reset.
