Wild Seafood Connection serves as a conduit for fishermen to meet restaurants chef/owners, retailers and others interested in providing wild, sustainably harvested seafood to the consumer market.

Attendees hear from chefs about what restaurants look for in a wild seafood supplier: portioning, volumes, species, etc.

Through case study presentations attendees also hear from their colleagues who have already established successful direct marketing businesses.

Attendees learn about developing value-added seafood products to increase margins, and about marketing sustainably harvested wild seafood.

Attendees also learn about custom processing and distribution resources, as well as public financing and small business assistance programs.
