Wild Rambling: Skills - NNAS Bronze Award
Join us in the lovely village of Sancreed, just outside of Penzance, for a two day course suitable for complete beginners, or anyone who is a bit rusty.
We’ll start with the absolute basics - understanding OS maps, recognising key symbols, setting the map, and using a simple compass bearing - before heading out for a practical sessions around beautiful Sancreed Beacon. It’s an inspiring place to learn: wide‑open views, ancient landscape features, and plenty of clear handrails and landmarks to practise with.
The course is friendly, supportive and pressure‑free, giving you the chance to build real skills at your own pace while enjoying one of West Cornwall’s most atmospheric spots.
Once you pass the Bronze course, you'll have the opportunity to progress to the Silver and Gold NNAS Awards if you wish. For more info, please check out the NNAS website here.
