Join me for a wild plant identification walk through Legacy Park in Sioux Falls, South Dakota as we explore the plants growing around us.We will discuss common medicinal plants, edible wild foods, native and non-native species, traditional uses, safety precautions, and ways to begin building relationships with the natural world.
This walk is open to all experience levels. Herbalism is a lifelong learning journey, and I look forward to exploring and learning alongside you.
Please wear comfortable shoes, and I recommend long pants as we will be walking through some wooded areas and brush.
The total walking distance will be less than a quarter mile at a slow, observational pace. Please bring water and dress appropriately for the weather.
