Join Mike Snyder of WildWise Botanicals and author of the forthcoming Foraging Mushrooms of the Ozarks for an engaging presentation about the Wild Mushrooms of Missouri! Mike has been hunting and studying Missouri's fungi for 15 years and is passionate about sharing what he has learned with anyone willing to listen. Presenting a slideshow of original photography, he will guide us through some mushroom basics and cover how to find some of the most delicious edibles in our region, along with tips on how to use them in the kitchen. Several of the most common toxic species will be covered as well.
