Wild Kidz- Family Event at Wind Wolves Preserve

EVENT INFORMATION

Join us between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm at the Wind Wolves Preserve Crossing Campground (grassy area near the main restroom) to learn about the wild plants and animals that call the preserve home. Reservations are not required but are a great way to recieve event reminders and updates. NOTE: Event is subject to cancellation due to unsafe weather conditions, including excessive heat, flood, or storm warnings.

This event is free, but please consider a donation to support The Wildlands Conservancy's mission! Donations can be made. All donations go directly to The Wildlands Conservancy and help support free public access, youth education, interpretative programs, and habitat restoration projects! ABOUT US

Wind Wolves Preserve is a 93,000-acre nature preserve located approximately 30 miles south of Bakersfield, and is owned and operated by The Wildlands Conservancy (TWC). The preserve is open to the public daily and visitors can enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, camping, or attend a staff led program, all free of charge.

TWC is a private, non-profit organization that operates more than 25 preserves along the west coast. Our mission is "To preserve the beauty and biodiversity of the earth and to provide programs so that children may know the wonder and joy of nature."
