This drop-off program offers kids a fun and educational way to get creative, play outdoors, and explore nature on a discovery walk.Step into the wonder of nature on this hands-on safari. For two hours, kids will roam, explore, and create as they discover the secrets of Lizard Log.
Program Highlights:
Ranger-Led Safari Walk: Wander through Lizard Log with our education rangers, spotting nests, burrows, and the hidden homes of local wildlife.
Bug and Habitat Hunt: Slow down and look closely—find the critters that call the park home in springtime.
Build Your Own Insect Hotel: Design and create a special hideaway for our smallest park residents, helping bugs stay safe and the ecosystem stay healthy.
Learn how to twist and weave your own cordage to keep it all together!
Every session is a chance to get your hands dirty, see nature up close, and make something that gives back to the park.
Please note this is a drop off program. Parents do not attend with their children.
