Wild in the Orchard(Trumpington Meadows): family walk & BringYourOwn-picnic

This is part of a series of activities for families throughout the year on Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve.

In this session, join Becca Badger for an adventure on Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve. We'll enjoy a summer stroll looking for wildlife, and end up at the orchard where we will picnic together, (we'll provide the water-proof blankets, you provide the food!). They'll be a selection of activities to keep everyone happy whilst we enjoy this beautiful area of the reserve. We might do some bug hunting, make a grass bracelet, make up stories, play around with tarps...

This session is perfect for families with primary-aged children, but older and younger siblings will enjoy them.

• The benefits of joining the Wildlife Trust BCN include a reduced rate for events. Family membership is from £5 a month.
• These are family sessions so children need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. The sessions are designed for everyone to enjoy.
• Adults and siblings under 18 months who are accompanying a paid-for child are free
• There are no toilet facilities available for this session.
• Parking is available nearby at Byron's Pool car park CB2 9LJ
• Our family activities in Trumpington are supported by The Community Fund at The Leys, Cambridge
