Have you ever wanted to know how to encourage healing and improve your sense of wellbeing through the use of wild herbs? Are you curious about how nature can benefit your body and mind? Discover the incredible abundance of wild herbs and their benefits during this beginners guide workshop as we learn to work with a few of the most common and easy to find herbs. Gather around the table at the wonderfully atmopsheric Koru, Gosforth as you learn how to work with nature's gifts and learn how to identify, forage dry and store your own wild remedies.
- What to Expect -
🌱We will be working with around 6-10 wild herbs, which could include flowers, fruits, and foliage.
🌱You will learn how to correctly identify the wild herbs, and how to forage for them safely and within the law.
🌱We'll look at the herbal benefits of the wild herbs, paying particular attention to bolstering general health and wellbeing.
🌱We'll cover why it's important to know your own body, and how to keep yourself safe when foraging for herbal remedies.
🌱You'll learn about a few of the ways which these herbs can be prepared and applied, as well as how to store herbs for long term storage.
🌱Finish with a calming herbal tea, brewed using wild herbs and flowers.
All levels of interest are welcome, and children aged 14 and under can come along for free with an adult.
