Wild Families club

Our wild families club will meet every 2nd Sunday of the month from October from 10.30-12. These sessions are designed for families with children aged 5 and over but younger children can attend alongside an older sibling. 

Our sessions are all about learning by taking action for nature. Each month will be themed with fun activities, games, crafts and sometimes wildlife jobs and at the end of each session we will suggest ways in which you can continue at home. We have a motto at wild families that we always take action for wildlife before taking action for ourselves. This means if we do an activity where we use natural resources, we always make sure we are giving back before.

The sessions run for 90 minutes and each month we could be somewhere different on the reserve.  At the end of the session, we encourage you to bring a picnic and enjoy your time together as a family in nature. 

Our first session in October we shall be helping to add back to our bug hotel and learning all about minibeasts!
