Wild Fall Festival and Bison Day
The Wild Fall Festival highlights the nature, history, and wildlife of the tallgrass prairie through hands‑on activities, guided exploration, and educational experiences led by staff and volunteers. This year’s festival offers a full schedule of engaging opportunities, including:
Workshops focused on bison and native prairie plants
Animal meet‑and‑greets with turtles and snakes
Nature activities, art projects, and story times
Guided nature exploration
Tours of historic buildings areas
Wagon rides for ages 3+ ($5/person)
The event provides a unique chance for visitors to connect with the prairie landscape and learn about the role of bison in Nebraska’s natural heritage. With activities suited for families, children, and adults, the festival encourages community members to celebrate fall outdoors.
