About this Event

🌸 Join us on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM for a full day outdoors and hands-on, learning the gentle art of making your own flower essence from wildflowers you gather yourself.

We begin together at Crimson Commuter, 28736 John R Rd, Madison Heights, MI 48071, then carpool over to the Douglas Nature Center, 31845 Evergreen Rd, Beverly Hills, MI 48025. There you will take a guided walk through the trails and meadows, learning to identify and respectfully gather wildflowers in bloom. Expect light hiking on natural terrain at an easy, unhurried pace.

Back at Crimson Commuter, you will turn the blossoms you gathered into a finished flower essence using traditional methods. You will leave with a bottled essence made by your own hands, plus the knowledge to keep making them on your own.

Throughout the day we will explore what flower essences actually are, the history behind them, and how they have traditionally been used to support emotional balance, gently release old emotional patterns, and reconnect with a sense of calm and clarity.

Part nature walk, part workshop, part quiet reset. No experience needed, and all materials are provided.

What Are Flower Essences Flower essences are gentle, water-based preparations that carry the energetic imprint of a flower in bloom. They have been used for generations as a holistic approach to emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Unlike essential oils, they hold no scent and no plant material, only the subtle vibrational quality of the blossom captured in water and preserved. People traditionally turn to flower essences to support emotional balance, ease everyday stress, and reconnect with a sense of inner calm. They are simple, safe, and a beautiful way to work with the quiet language of nature.
