Wild about Pollinators

Join Laura from Young Growers Club for a relaxed, hands-on PWYC family event all about the wonderful pollinators that help our gardens grow
About this Event

Together we'll discover the amazing world of bees, butterflies, hoverflies, moths and beetles through creative activities, seed saving and simple gardening ideas that you can take home and enjoy together.

All aged children are welcome to attend, this is a relaxed drop-in session where you can explore at your own pace.

During the session you can:

• Make wildflower seed balls to help pollinators in your garden.
• Match the pollinators using fun clues and discover each pollinator's special superpower.
• Colour your favourite pollinator to take home.
• Collect flower seeds and learn why saving seeds is good for people, wildlife and the planet.
• Design your own seed packet to store your collected seeds.
• You can also go on your own bug hunt around the garden

There will also be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, explore and chat about growing food, flowers and supporting wildlife.

No gardening experience is needed—just come along and enjoy getting hands-on with nature.
