What is the Antwerp Business Competition?
The ABC is a Business Case Competition that challenges students to solve a problem or challenge within a real business context. It is presented by our partners: KPMG & Microsoft
Who is KPMG?
KPMG is a global professional services firm that provides audit, tax, and advisory services to organizations worldwide. It supports companies in improving performance, managing risk, and navigating complex regulatory and business challenges. With offices in many countries, including Belgium, KMPG works with both large multinationals and growing local businesses.
Who is Microsoft?
Microsoft is a global technology company and one of the world’s leading players in the tech industry. It develops software, hardware, and cloud solutions, including well-known products
such as Windows, Microsoft 365, and Azure. With operations around the world, Microsoft supports businesses and individuals in improving productivity, innovation, and digital
transformation.
How does the ABC proceed?
The event starts with KPMG’s or Microsoft’s presentation and their Business Case. After that, participating teams will have one and a half hours to analyse the available information, solve
the case and prepare their pitch. Then, each team gets to present their solution in front of the judges. After the presentation there is a walking dinner and network moment before starting
the second case. Finally, the winning teams will be awarded at the award ceremony. The evening will end with a networking moment. Of course, snacks and drinks will not be missing!

Wat is de Antwerp Business Competition? De ABC is een Business Case Competition die studenten uitdaagt om een probleem of uitdaging op te lossen binnen een realistische bedrijfscontext. Het evenement wordt gepresenteerd door onze partners: KPMG & Microsoft.
Wie is KPMG? KPMG is een wereldwijd professioneel dienstverlenend bedrijf dat audit-, fiscale en adviesdiensten aanbiedt aan organisaties over de hele wereld. Het ondersteunt bedrijven bij het verbeteren van prestaties, het beheren van risico’s en het omgaan met complexe regelgeving en zakelijke uitdagingen. Met kantoren in vele landen, waaronder België, werkt KPMG samen met zowel grote multinationals als groeiende lokale bedrijven.
Wie is Microsoft? Microsoft is een wereldwijd technologiebedrijf en een van de toonaangevende spelers in de technologiesector. Het ontwikkelt software, hardware en cloudoplossingen, waaronder bekende producten zoals Windows, Microsoft 365 en Azure. Met activiteiten over de hele wereld ondersteunt Microsoft bedrijven en individuen bij het verbeteren van productiviteit, innovatie en digitale transformatie.
Hoe verloopt de ABC? Het evenement start met een presentatie van KPMG of Microsoft en hun Business Case. Daarna krijgen de deelnemende teams anderhalf uur de tijd om de beschikbare informatie te analyseren, de case op te lossen en hun pitch voor te bereiden. Vervolgens presenteert elk team zijn oplossing voor de jury. Na de presentaties volgt een walking-dinner en netwerkmoment, waarna de tweede case van start gaat. Tot slot worden de winnende teams bekendgemaakt tijdens de prijsuitreiking. De avond eindigt met een netwerkmoment.
Uiteraard zullen snacks en drankjes niet ontbreken!
