Welcome to Wikicurious: Editing Wikipedia for Beginners!
Join Wikimedia NYC at Civic Hall for a fun and informative event where you'll learn the ins and outs of editing the world's largest online encyclopedia. Whether you're a complete newbie or just looking to brush up on your skills, this workshop is perfect for anyone interested in contributing to Wikipedia.
Our friendly instructors will guide you through the basics of creating and editing articles, citing sources, and navigating the platform. By the end of the session, you'll feel confident in your ability to make meaningful edits and help improve the accuracy of information on Wikipedia.
