Wikicurious: Editing Wikipedia for Beginners during SXSW

Join Wikimedia NYC for a special Pi Day edition of Wikicurious: Editing for Beginners during SXSW! We'll be in Austin, Texas at the Wiki Haus (811 Congress Ave) for this South by Southwest and Wikipedia mash up. Whether you’re a complete newbie or just looking to brush up on your skills, this workshop is perfect for anyone interested in learning the ins and outs of editing the world's largest encyclopedia. Our instructors will guide you through the basics of creating and editing articles, citing sources, and navigating the platform.

Food and drinks will be provided (including pie of course) but please bring your own laptop to edit. Attendees will need to have a Wikipedia account to edit pages, please create your account here before the event.
