Come join Wikimedia NYC, Equis, The Celia Cruz Foundation, and the International Museum of Salsa at Lehman College, CUNY for a fun and interactive event where we will be editing Wikipedia articles to the beat of our favorite Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia, Vallenato, and related genres from a live band! We'll learn about the history of those musical styles, get trained on how to use Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, and connect with like-minded people.

Whether you're a seasoned editor or new to the world of Wiki, this event is perfect for anyone looking to learn, collaborate, and have a great time. Bring your laptop, and get ready to groove while making a positive impact on the world of online knowledge sharing.

Food and drinks will be provided. We will also have live Spanish interpreters for those who need translation.
