About this Event

WIFT [Women in Film and Television] is a local nonprofit dedicated to building a strong community for local film professionals. We center femme-forward stories and the women [and allies] who write them.
This is a new, monthly program that takes a work-in-progress screenplay from an emerging writer and workshops it with a group of actors and an audience. This is your chance to see brand-new works from local writers and discover our amazing local acting talent.

Warnings: Profanity not suitable for small children
This month, our host location is Rich's Art Gallery in East Austin. We'll gather there and ask the audience to take their seats as the actors read through a 40-minute screenplay. There will be a quick Q&A afterward.
Please no outside food or drinks. Street parking is free, but you might have to park a small distance from the gallery and walk, so give yourself time.
If you want to record video/audio, please clear it with the organizers beforehand.
