Widick and friends : A musical Improv Extravaganza

This workshop is for any musical or hip hop improviser that wants to level up on scene work. We will dive into character, emotion, and relationship exercises that will help us get to "the song" faster and with more purpose. In musical improv, it is crucial to have a clear point of view to sing about so this workshop will help develop that part of our improvisation!

About the Instructor:

Douglas Widick is a founding member of Hip-Hop Improv group, North Coast, which was named one of Timeout NY’s Top 10 Comedy Shows of 2014 and tours internationally. He was recently in the cast of Sonja In Your City and Toxic Masculinity: The Musical.

Doug teaches musical improv all over the world, and was recently seen in the Off-Broadway musicals, “F#%king Up Everything”, “Blank! The Musical”, and "Anybody: An Improvised Historical Hip-Hopera."
