Widening the Student Network Event
Join Tackling Elitism in collaboration with staff from the CAHSS WP Network on Thursday 27 April for a full-day event comprised of panel speakers, networking, and activity stalls. This is a full day event with possibilities to drop in and out of sessions and activities. Come for as much or as little of the day as you can!
Food and refreshments will be provided.
This event is an opportunity to network with students and staff from the CAHSS and wider university, explore activity stands, and discover relevant services and current initiatives in schools and student societies that can promote support, community and a sense of belonging.
The Widening the Student Network project aims to create a tangible opportunity for enhancing collaboration, communication, and support between students from non-traditional, under-represented backgrounds and staff who are themselves also from diverse backgrounds, or who are interested in supporting this campaign. This project aims to celebrate the importance and validity of The University of Edinburgh’s diverse student population and showcase existing initiatives and support available to all students.
Please register your interest in attending. While we appreciate you registering so we can account for catering numbers, it is not compulsory to do so if you wish to attend the event. Please feel free to come along on the day as this event is not ticketed at the door.
