Wicks and Wonder Walk for Seniors

Slow down, take a deep breath and reconnect with nature through your sense of smell. Gather with other seniors by a cozy campfire to create hand-dipped beeswax candles and then join a naturalist for an easygoing hike where you’re invited to engage your senses and discover the subtle scents of summer.
Fee: $5 per person.
Age: Ages 55 and older.

We will be walking no more than 1 mile on natural surfaces over uneven terrain. Plum Creek Nature Center is an accessible facility. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online (https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with-disabilities-act-information/request-accommodation-inclusion-service/) no later than 48 hours before the program.
