We're finally here for the first day of the Wichita Honkers -- the alter ego of the Wichita Wind Surge. On Saturday, May 2, come to the ballpark as they play the Arkansas Travelers. The first 2000 fans will receive their very own Honkers Tumbler.
If you haven't heard, I am teaming up with the Wichita Wind Surge to give back to Blood Cancer United. Formerly known as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and we will have a concession stand at the Home Plate Stand.
Come drop by our stand, as your purchase helps support Kansas families fighting cancer.
Our team is made up of survivors, families and local leaders who want to make a difference. Our goal is set to raise $100,000 from now to May 30.
Cancer, unfortunately, touches so many lives. Your ticket to this game will comfort them during their toughest days.
