About this Event
Why We're Here | An A Cappella Celebration of Why We Sing
Vocal Confluence, Pittsburgh's All-Voice Barbershop Chorus, is proud to announce its 2026 summer show: "Why We're Here | An A Cappella Celebration of Why We Sing."
Every song in our repertoire has a purpose, and every person in our chorus has a reason for singing each song. Whether we are seeking to inspire to make our world a better place, or we are trying not to take ourselves too seriously, every piece of music has a story. Join us to hear why we sing.
Vocal Confluence is Pittsburgh's only all-voice barbershop chorus, and has competed internationally after qualifying for the Barbershop Harmony Society International Chorus Contest in 2024, 2025, and 2026. We have been hired to sing at various Pittsburgh events and concert series, including Fridays at the Frick, Bach, Beethoven, and Brunch, and even at The Pavilion at Star Lake to open for Foreigner. We have worked with world-renowned coaches, including Steve Scott, Steve Tramack, Melody Hine, Nicky McGrath, Cy Wood, and Blair Brown. Don't miss Pittsburgh's best-kept secret!
