About this Event

So why should you care about the air?

Air quality may be more than you think, in a post-pandemic world people are starting to pay more attention to the air they breathe. The term 'Air Quality' should no longer simply be associated with the smog clouds of post-WW2 London or another byproduct of the industrial revolution. Now we must also consider the air we breathe regularly, everyday; the air in your home, in your office, in your school. Come and explore air quality with me, learn about pollutants and causes, preventative measures and different approaches over time, why it might be more important now than ever and how the newfound interest might shape our future.

Jodie Barnsley, a DevOps engineer and air quality enthusiast currently consulting on a global activist engineer project, will explore all things air quality. Discussing what she has discovered over the past 5 years working in the space from indoor to outdoor, home sensors to global networks, exposure considerations, data analysis, predictions, visualisations and more.
