Join Mayor Ras Baraka for a screening of the riveting documentary "Why Is We Americans", an intimate portrait of the Baraka Family who merges art, culture, and politics in their fight for social justice. And a special presentation of the "The Book of Baraka" his Audible Original audio book that recounts his journey from poet to principal to peacemaker, through his own powerful, inspiring words. This event will be held at the beautiful Planet Words Museum in Washington DC.
