Location: University of Alabama - Math and Science Building Auditorium (RM 1001). Free parking on campus in any available parking space near the auditorium or the museum.

Join us for a FREE screening of the award-winning documentary WHY DINOSAURS, presented by the University of Alabama and the Alabama Museum of Natural History, in honor of Alabama's National Fossil Day.

Walk the red carpet and meet some of the cast and crew, including Director Tony Pinto, paleontologist Skye Walker of Elevation Science Institute, amateur palentologist Jim Braswell, and other special guests. This event promises to be a fun and educational experience for dinosaur enthusiasts aged 5 to 105. Don't miss out!

Following the Q&A, there's a National Fossil Day tabling event in the Grand Gallery of the Alabama Museum of Natural History in Smith Hall, a 5-minute walk from the movie screening location, with tables for local paleo societies and other groups displaying fossils and other materials.

Ray Wilhite, a paleontologist from Auburn University, who is bringing a fossilized egg with a developing dinosaur inside. This egg was discovered in Alabama decades ago and is currently held in the collection of the Auburn University Museum of Natural History.
