This Whole Body Healthy Mastercalss is open to all levels of fitness, from absolute exercise beginners to advanced athletes. Experience bursts of flavor as you mindfully sample light nourishing refreshments. Then plunge into a warm-water pool for a workout that is both gentle and a highly effecient workout for the whole body.

The indoor pool is 92 degrees and has a ramp or stairs to enter. Amenities include bathrooms, changing rooms, pool-side rest areas, certified lifeguards, and a hot tub for your post-workout soak.

Water shoes (strongly recommended)
Toiletries to shower after pool workout
Change of clothes (recommended)

Plastic bag for wet swimwear (recommended)
What to wear:
Wear your swimsuit under a cover-up or exercise clothes that will allow easy movement
Walking/athletic shoes must be worn while on land
Water shoes are strongly recommended for aquatic exercises
Comfortable clothing that allows movement (over swimsuit is highly recommended)
**Spend more time enjoying the experience and less time in the locker room. Please come dressed in your swimsuit with a coverup so you can quickly transition from our land activities to the water. There will be a brief break to use the restroom or change in the locker rooms if needed during before entering the pool.
About Jennifer Sylvester DPT:
Dr. Jen PT is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Aquatic Therapy specialist, and Master Aquatic Fitness Trainer, and has been teaching exercise and wellness classes for over 20 years. Dr. Jen PT got her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She opened her concierge physical therapy and wellness practice ten years ago in California's beautiful Silicon Valley. Using a holistic approach, Dr. Jen PT helps people with pain and chronic medical conditions manage their lifestyle so they can stay active and enjoy their fullest potential. She is passionate about preventing chronic diseases, and leads private and group fitness classes and wellness programs to help people stay healthy at every age.
FAQ:
What if I don't swim?
- Don't worry! The aquatic portion is a standing workout - you won't have to swim or get your hair wet. Choose your level of comfort in shallow or deep water.
Can a helper join me?
- For those who need assistance in the water, your aquatic exercise buddy is invited to join the fun for free! (Your buddy can be a person from your household who will stay by your side to provide assistance for you at all times.) Contact Dr. Jen at (408)550-7226 to request coupon code to register your buddy for free.
Can I come if I am currently in physical therapy treatment?
No. This masterclass is for eductational purposes and is not intended to replace physical therapy treatment for any condition. You may not particpate if you are in physical therapy treatment at the time of the event and/or have not been cleared for community exercise classes. Please reach out to Dr. Jen at (408)550-7226 for a free consultation if you are unsure whether you eligible to participate.
When should I arrive?
Arrive at least 15 minutes early so you can pick up your parking pass from the front desk or registration table.
Where should I park?
You must use a parking pass to park in the Timpany Center lots. The lot closest to the event entry is at Ginger Lane & Middle Drive. The other lot is at Thornton Way & Empey Way at the Kiddango entrance.
Should I wear a mask? -
Mask wearing during class is optional. When in the pool, be advised that wet masks can impair breathing. Wet masks should be removed or replaced when exercising in a pool, so consider keeping a spare mask in a waterproof container at the edge of the pool.
