Who Would Have Believed it? Unusual Stories from Edinburgh Living History
For nearly 15 years Edinburgh Living History have been staging events at Lauriston Castle. To make these as authentic as possible they have had-to do research into the late Victorian and Edwardian period, especially with reference to Edinburgh. During their research they have uncovered many unusual stories which they would like to share. For example: the murderous doctor, the only bombing raid on Edinburgh in the First World War, how the death of Edward VI was honoured in the capital. These, and many weird and at times spooky tales, have enhanced the enjoyment they have had being part of the group and they would like to share them with you.
Gordon Roberts and David Fisher have been longtime members of Edinburgh Living History.
