Join instructor Kylie in this thriving event where you will mix the world of exquisite cocktails & art. All participants will join in for some Exquisite Corpus games while mixing and sippin on a cocktail curated by Kylie.
Exquisite Corpse (Cadavere Exquis) is a collaborative drawing game first used by surrealist artists to keep their imaginations healthy, maintain connection with other artists, and ultimately create bizarre intuitive works of art. The way it will work: on separate pieces of paper, you will draw a “head”, a “body”, and “legs'' with a prompt on the back. Prompts will be weird; let that cocktail work and go with it. What drawing materials you use is entirely up to you, and exploration is encouraged. This is NOT about making boring academic drawings- the weirder the better, darling. Once you’re finished, your drawn head will go on top of a fellow creative’s drawn body, and those two will be above another creative’s drawn feet- et voilà! You have yourself an Exquisite Corpse that you made with fellow artist-geniuses like yourself.
