A Community Discussion: How well are our local police trained in handling situations involving mentally ill people? The houseless population? How can we ensure our cops are trained to use less than lethal force in routine stops? The "Community Oversight Task Force," an affinity group of the Peace and Justice Center, will show two short films on the subject and will seek to answer these questions and more on the issues of accountability and police training.
