Year 6! What I’ve come to learn this year is that while dad & Ricky are gone physically, they are still teaching me things every day. Things like being grateful for the simple things and that it’s okay to stay quiet and listen for a while.I’m thankful for great friends and family that have been integral in the decision to choose Boone NC as the anchor site for our ride. It’s a great ride and offers plenty of areas to eat for our growing group of riders! With a consistent location, the idea is to provide a safe and well planned event year in and year out.
October 5 @ 9 AM, we’ll head out from dad & Ricky’s final resting place at Gaston Memorial Park and the ride will finish in Boone at a restaurant to be named later. We choose a fun route with a little bit of everything & will have some planned stops along the way for pictures and bathroom breaks.
As always, invite friends and riders you think would enjoy! We’ve grown every year and it wouldn’t surprise me that we grow again this year. Everyone is welcome!!
