White Ward:
WHITE WARD, from Odesa, Ukraine performs intensely deviant metal music of a noir shade.
Formed in 2012 and taking root in raw depressive Black Metal, the band rapidly shed all boundaries, taking inspiration from an array of dark atmospheres including the writings of H.P. Lovecraft and I.M. Banks.
Exploring themes of borderline death states, aberrant afterlife worlds, and strange mental disorders, the WHITE WARD sound adapts the expansiveness of instrumental jazz and the depths of existential despair. After recording their first full-length album, "Futility Report", and being signed to Debemur Morti Productions, WHITE WARD is primed to embark much further on their divergent sonic journey.
The band continues to evolve and change directions with their second release, "Love Exchange Failure". Dark-jazz aesthetics appear more vibrant and deeper than ever before, while elements of blackened death, prog, and black metal scream out in an intense fury over vicious blast beats, courtesy of new drummer Noctum! Lyrical themes explore new dimensions, diving into the abyss of human psyche instead of creating Lovecraft-inspired worlds.
In June 2022, the Ukrainian Black Metal innovators unleashed their third album, "False Light", incorporating and intertwining various influences into a potent and dystopian mix. "False Light" is an indispensable record from a stunning band at the top of their game.

Frail Body Frail Body is a three piece band from Rockford, IL.
"Artificial Bouquet" is an eleven song album by Frail Body. Produced, engineered, and recorded by Pete Grossmann at Bricktop Recording, and mastered by Jack Shirley at The Atomic Garden (Deafheaven, Joyce Manor, Loma Prieta).
Opening track "Scaffolding" explodes out of the gate with dizzying speed before descending into a wash of discordant melody. "Berth" and "Critique Programme" then inject pulse-pounding tempo shifts and unorthodox heavy riffing into the fray. "Devotion" plays as a stunning ebb and flow epic that shows method to their musical chaos. "Monolith" and "Refrain" then blur the lines between post-hardcore and melodic black metal in their frantic approach. These lead to "No Resolution" and "Runaway"; two slow build numbers that showcase the otherworldly dynamics Frail Body possess. "Horizon Line" follows this path as it builds to bone-shaking crescendo. Lastly "Another Year Removed" serves as an instrumental bridge to closer "A Capsule In The Sediment". A song that empties the emotional tank for all to bear witness. All of it so raw and beautifully out of control.
Without question, "Artificial Bouquet" establishes Frail Body as leaders within the modern "screamo" movement. A shining example that the once dormant sub-genre continues to evolve and thrive for all the world to see

Bosco Sacro Bosco Sacro inspired by nature’s great reconciling vastness, Bosco Sacro’s sound consists of dreamy atmospheres, slowed-down rhythms and an intense sonic and spiritual depth. Their musical roots are in ambient and doom metal.
Bosco Sacro’s debut album Gem was released in 2023 via cult label Avantgarde Music and produced by Lorenzo Stecconi (Amenra, Zu, Ufomammut).
