Sweet, sweet June - the official kick-off to competitive season in AZ. While we all recover from an amazing 5 year anniversary celebration (thank you for coming to the Bunny Ball!), Nivens put in a call to good friend and chief judge extraordinaire, Jim Tigges.
With P4J the weekend following this month's Unplugged, AZ Dance Classic upcoming, and DCS just around the corner (among other travel options in-between), Nivens thought this is a perfect time for our competitive Westies to learn from the master of competitive evaluation himself, Jim Tigges!
Jim is a Platinum Certified Chief Judge—the highest level—and one of the most experienced and trusted judges in WCS. He regularly serves as Head Judge or Chief Judge at major events across the US and Canada, and he's not just judging—he's helped build the systems behind it. He regularly teaches seminars on how judging actually works, scoring, and what competitors need to understand, and this month he's doing so for you!
Invaluable information! Even as a non-competitive dancer, Jim's insight can prove incredibly helpful when it comes to understanding and dancing WCS effectively.
Schedule:
8pm: "WCS Competition Tips and Prep”
9pm: Dance Party
$15 (Includes class)

Remember:
- If it glows it won't say "no"

Also, per the CDC liquor license, no outside alcohol is permitted.
