Nivens had a blast at P4J, and he hopes you did too. While there, he had a sit-down with one of his closest friends, local phenom and WSDC All-Star Drew Mitchell, about the significance and importance of blues and swung rhythm, as it applies to our beloved WCS.
As a result, Drew has agreed to help elevate all of our dancing with his comprehensive approach to the topic, "Am I Swung Over? Or is it the Blues?" A class that focuses on integrating the techniques of blues and swung rhythms and why that matters. Far more than just learning how to dance to a specific genre of music, this class will expand your ability to effectively dance and enjoy all genres, by delving into the power and nuance of rhythm and timing.
